The Destination Imagination Team is currently looking for new members!! Try-outs will be held in the middle of December. Be sure to listen to the AM and PM Announcements for me details or see Mr. Thompson in Room 220.

Congratulations to the highest scoring team in Memorial Middle School history!! The 2003 - 2004 team placed 4th at the State finals this year and just barely missed bringing home MMS's first ever DI trophy. The team worked very hard over the last couple of weeks leading up to the tournament, and their hard work clearly paid off. The team had the highest score in the tournament on the Instant Challenge portion of the competition, which earned them a perfect score for that segment. If only their technical device (the DIverter) had worked on the first try . . . :) Just wait until next year!! MMS is finally on the DI map and we're on our way to becoming a force in the competition!!!

Congrats to the 2002 - 2003 DI Team!

While they did not score as highly as some of us hoped, the team did a great job with this year's problem, "Theater smARTS. Everyone had a great time (even though we got rained on when we tried to move the scenery into the competiton site)! Congrats for a year of hard work, dedication and (at least a little) success! We look forward to starting the year again when tryouts take place this coming Fall.
